Dr. Rabia Yilan is a native Long Islander who grew up in Bay Shore, NY. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Stony Brook University majoring in Biology. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Yilan continued her education at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital where she excelled at all aspects of dentistry. She attended Advanced Specialty Education Program in Endodontics at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine where she served as the chief resident.
Dr. Yilan has been declared board-eligible by the American Board of Endodontics. She also has been actively involved in dental outreach missions to provide dental care for those in need.
Her approach to dental practice is to preserve natural dentition whenever possible while treating all patients like family. With her compassionate nature, Dr. Yilan provides exceptional endodontic services for patients of all ages.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Yilan teaches Endodontics at Wyckoff Hospital and spends time with her two sons.
